Rick’s Motorcycles from Baden-Baden took the iconic Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy and turned it into a one-of-a-kind custom machine. At the heart of the build is a massive 300 mm rear tire, giving the bike an aggressive, commanding stance that sets it apart from the stock Fat Boy.
What makes this radical transformation possible is Rick’s custom swingarm kit, designed to center the wide tire for better rideability. Instead of a conventional belt drive, the design uses two belts and an intermediate shaft so the drive can clear the oversized tire - a clever engineering solution unique to Rick’s builds.
The bike rolls on Rick’s own three-piece “Freestyle” wheels - 10.5x18 in at the rear and 4.5x18 in up front - and wears handmade steel fenders crafted to match the oversized rubber. Other standout details include an elongated fuel tank for fluid lines, a KessTech adjustable exhaust, Rick’s air filter with custom ECU mapping, and a host of Rick’s branded controls and accessories.
The result is a striking custom Fat Boy that blends bold style with engineering ingenuity - a true example of Rick’s signature craftsmanship.
