Rick's Short Shift Linkage M8/TC

Rick's short shift linkage replaces the stock shift rod and shortens shift lever travel for quicker gear changes with less effort. Its shortened geometry improves leverage with smooth engagement in all gears and removes the play of the stock linkage. The rod is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and weighs less than the stock part; the ball joint heads are 7075 aluminum, anodized black, with chrome-moly steel ball joint bearings.

It fits Milwaukee-Eight (M8) and Twin Cam models with mid controls and, built to OEM specifications, bolts on in place of the stock linkage. The length adjusts from 109 to 121 mm (4.25" to 4.75"), so the shift lever can be set exactly where the rider wants it. The linkage comes in black, blue, gold, purple or red, and Rick's long shift linkage is also available.
