Rick's Shift Arm Extension "Shift Easier" - Sportster XL up to 2022
Rick's "Shift Easier" shift arm extension improves the leverage of the stock shifter on Harley-Davidson Sportster XL models. The longer lever ratio cuts shifting effort by up to about 20 percent, makes gear changes smoother and more precise, reduces missed shifts and lets the rider find neutral right away, even in stop-and-go traffic or at walking pace. It suits riders who want lighter shifting in city traffic and on long rides while keeping a stock look.
The extension is CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum and anodized in black or red. It is a plug-and-play part with the mounting hardware included, and it is easy to install for home mechanics as long as the torque specifications are followed. Developed and made by Rick's Motorcycles, it fits Sportster XL models up to 2022 with forward controls.
Not for Sportster XL models with mid controls, and not for the Sportster S or Nightster.
