Rick's Forward Controls "AK4.7"
Rick's Forward Controls "AK4.7"
Rick's "AK4.7" forward controls keep the factory footpeg position or move your feet forward, with a stock-style look and improved ergonomics. They are CNC-milled from aluminum in the "AK4.7" design with machined grooves on the footpegs for grip and control, and come polished or black anodized. The Softail 07-17 version has a milled mount for the side stand switch.
The Softail 18-up version fits Milwaukee-Eight Softail 2018-up models, from the Breakout, Fat Boy and FXDR to the Low Rider ST and Street Bob. The Softail 07-17 version fits Twin Cam Softail 2007-2017 models, including the Blackline, Breakout, Breakout CVO, Cross Bones, Fat Boy, Heritage Softail Classic, Rocker C, Softail CVO Convertible, Softail Deluxe and Softail Slim, and works with the original manifolds. The kit includes the shift rod assembly, all mounting hardware and a certificate of authenticity; brake lines are sold separately. The same controls are also available in the "O-Ring" design. The exact models for each version are listed under Fits on this page.
Choose your bike under Model, then OEM, +2in or +4in under Position and the finish. For the Softail 18-up version Rick's recommends the matching extended brake line.
